Boat and Breakfast

I have always loved bed and breakfasts and small quaint inns.  The service is always lovely and the amenities and price usually cannot be beat.  They often include a social hour with wine and cheese, homemade evening cookies and coffee, and I always pick one with a hot multiple course gourmet breakfast!

One B&B I Really wanted to try was a boat and breakfast.  We were fortunate enough to reserve to stay on one last summer when my family got together for a beach photo shoot on Anna Maria Island.

It was reasonable and we kept it docked during the whole stay.

Here are some photos of our wonderful stay and a copy of my review:

Our recent stay on the Dream lover boat and breakfast was fantastic! The boat was very comfortable and Kay and Jonathan made us feel so at home. The space was inviting and fun with a great view. We enjoyed wine and cheese &crackers; and watched the dolphins continuously play nearby. Our Captains Quarters was extremely comfortable and clean. Breakfast was fantastic, scrambled eggs, croissants, fresh squeezed juice, fruit, lemon curd and Kay even went out of her way to make my husband a requested smoothie! They allowed some family we had visiting to stop by and tour the boat which was a huge hit with my nephews! Jonathan was kind enough to take some great photos of us on the boat too. We have stayed at 30+ B&Bs; throughout the country and this ranks among the top for great ambience, hospitality and uniqueness. We would love to stay there again and even more complimentary I can tell you that by the time you leave you would find yourselves wanting neighbors or friends just like Kay & Jonathan.

Kings quarters where we slept, plenty of space on the bed, pretty tight moving around it but all things considered very comfortable.

Breakfast in the morning.  Kay offered us fresh fruit, scrambled eggs on croissants and the finishing touch was a special fruit smoothie she made by request for Robert.  Everything was fresh and excellent!
